Scammers and their tricks.
1. Firstly - be alert if you see a GREAT photo online. Do not fool yourself. Having a photo doesn't imply belonging to the lady communicating with you.
2. The next step in the scam is the "direct" approach - to make a man leave the site's experienced staff who monitor profiles and do their best to make your experience safe, and start writing to her private email.
3. Exchanging emails with "her" is the next step in the scam.
4. The next warning sign is that the "girl" does not want to give you her phone number. She will tell you that 'yes', she can communicate with you online every day (or use Internet at work), but she has no cell phone/land line.
5. Another suspicious thing is that she will tell you about her feelings and love to you very soon. You can expect to have an acknowledgement of love even in the second email. She will tell you that you touched her heart and soul, that you're unbelievable etc., just the things you wish to hear and read.
6. So now we are ready for the "date". The "girl" thinks that you are ready (especially if you communicate every day on ICQ\MSN where things happen very quickly), and she makes her next move. Sometimes she can say that her friend has a so she says that she wants the same trip, but with you. She wants to come to your country "and spend two unforgettable weeks alone with you".
7. Of course next she asks for the money to go to Moscow/Kiev to apply for a visa and buy tickets to the US. In some cases, she can ask for $1500 USD, and in some cases she can say that she has half the money and so "only" needs the second half. It will depend on her income and 'modesty'. Remember that it's quite diffilcult for a russinan/ukrainian woman to get a visa, especially if she doesn't work anywhere and lives with her parents and 8 brothers in 2 room flat.
